The Sound System Podcast is KilkennyMusic.com’s official podcast, featuring a direct monthly chat show as well as highlights from the One Take Sessions in between - your chance to catch up on great live music that you may have missed.

Your hosts for the show are Ken (The Chief), Ross (El Resident Photographer and supposed sex god), Daw (El Resident Engineerio) and Mickey Boo (famous for his role in cheesy 80s hit TV show ‘Trig And Boo’ and his infamous catchphrase “Book ‘em Trig!”).

Each show we’ll be bringing you a selection of new music for your ears, a roundup of things happening on the Kilkenny music scene, upcoming gigs and developments from around KilkennyMusic.com. On special shows such as the One Take Sessions shows you’ll have the chance to catch two tracks from each of the acts featured on the night as well as a bit of chat between ourselves.

If you would like to submit a track to be featured on the Sound System Podcast then please email us at soundsystem@kilkennymusic.com or podcast@kilkennymusic.com. Include one track per email sent, in MP3 format and don’t forget to include some class of a bio on yourself or a release to go along with it!

Each show one of us will bring new music to the table, all bands featured are then listed here on the site so you’ve got no excuse not to check them out.
